God Angry at America?

So I have heard some people claim that the recient disasters in America were proof that God was mad at the US, and more specailly New Orleans. I must say that it's a load of horse poo. You ever read about what God does when he is pissed, he raining sulfer, not huricanes. I have never heard of a naturnally occuring sulfer storm. Granted I am not a weather channel junky, but I am pretty sure that they would interupt normal TV to let me know. Ok so maybe I could see it if it was unusual weather, like a Hurricain hitting Minnapolis, or an Earth Quake in Missouri or a Blizzard in Miami. Yeah that would take some divine intervention, but a hurricane hitting anywhere on the Golf Coast that is just a naturnally occuring weather pattern. That or god is just pissed about something for a long time, even before we lived here and we haven't figured-out why and how to make him happy. Like some Bobcat pooped in the wrong sink hole, and nobody has cleaned it up, and he is trying to wash it out the old fashioned way.
I also heard a different theory that all of Florida would catch on fire back in the day (pre-America), and the hurricanes would often put them out. Maybe God has this Auto-Pilot program runing, and even though the conditions have changed the program it keeps running. Kind of like when you go out of town on a trip and leave your alarm clock on and it goes-off while you are gone. Then your neighbors bitch at you when you come home because the walls are too thin and they heard it the whole time you were gone.
I think it's just natural weather pattern, maybe it's been amped-up a bit by Global warming, maybe it's just been the luck of the draw or maybe a bob cat pooped in God's sink hole. I think a lot of people just like to talk out their asses and try to put 3 facts together and try to make everyone else think they are right. Wouldn't be a lot more useful if instead of saying God is mad at America to help people-out in need so God won't be pissed at us for not loving our fellow man? Maybe it's because bitching about things is free and easy, but help somebody out takes effort and money.
